Delhi MBBS Admission counselling 2022

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct admission to DU MBBS BDS 2022 to the colleges associated to University of Delhi (DU). DU NEET admission 2022 will be done for admission to 660 MBBS and 40 BDS seats offered by 03 medical and 01 dental college. For DU MBBS BDS 2022 admissions, the candidate must qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate – NEET UG entrance exam 2022 as mentioned. DU MBBS admission 2022 will be done for both 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% state quota seats.

The admission form of DU MBBS BDS 2022 will be published  by MCC. While filling DU MBBS application form 22022, candidate have to enter his/her personal, academic, NEET UG 2022, contact number, mail-id and other details. In addition to this ,he/she have to enter his/her choices of colleges , in which they want to take admission. 2On the basis of choices entered, no. of seats available, NEET UG result 2022, seats reservation and other parameters, Delhi University MBBS BDS 2022 admission will be given.

Student must be an Indian National for admission through All India Entrance Exam (NEET).

Student should be 17+ as on 31st December of the year of admission.

In order to secure yourself a medical seat in a reputed government college, following are considered:

Marks obtained in Senior Secondary Examination or Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent with PCB.

Marks obtained in the NEET examinations conducted at central level.

For AIIMS and JIPMER medical colleges, aspiring students need to undertake a separate entrance examination conducted by the respective authority.

It is worth mentioning here that NEET exam is undertaken by almost every MBBS aspirant for getting enrolled for an MBBS course in India. This important medical entrance examination is conducted across 154 test centers in India. Over 16.1 lacs candidates registered for NEET in 2021.

MBBS Admission in India

Medical Education in India is provided by the Recognized Medical Colleges in India. All Institutions must have recognition by Medical Council of India Act. MBBS is known as Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery. Institutions offering MBBS Course in its syllabus are referred to as Medical Colleges. This course has curriculum with the basic and Para- Clinical Subjects like- Anatomy, Bio-Chemistry, Pathology, Physiology, Medicine and Pharmacology. It is a four and half years program and one year internship for students as per guideline by WHO.

The fee structure is decided by the college for each quota and is submitted to the state authorities. After their approvals, they will implement it during counseling.

The lowest fee structure I have noticed is 7.50 lakhs per annum and the maximum fee is around 27 lakhs per year depending on colleges.

Apart from these fees, the student has to pay hostel fees. In most of the colleges, the hostel and food charges will start from 1.50 lakh rupees per year.
